This course provides comprehensive knowledge about antimicrobial resistance, its mechanisms, drivers, and co-resistance. Participants will learn how microbes and antimicrobials work, and how antimicrobial resistance (AMR) happens.

They will also discover the basic concepts of ‘superbugs’, and analyze the results of Antimicrobial Susceptibility Testing (AST), including their different breaking points, cut-off settings, and their application in the clinical context. Delegates on the course will gain in-depth knowledge of Antimicrobial Stewardship Programs to reduce antibiotic consumption and then minimize AMR rates.

• Define a basic workflow to create CRISPR instruments
• Demonstrate the efficient RNA guideline selection and design (gRNA)
• Provision of human cell CRIPSR tools, transfer
• Assess genome edit validation in cells engineered
