Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) is a widely established technology used to detect the presence of antigens in samples. Protein analysis has become the center of the innovation of molecular biology research. The history of protein analysis in relation to medical discoveries is one of the major breakthroughs in the 21st century from which patients and families have benefited hugely. In this ELISA course, we will highlight the importance of ELISA techniques along with their principles. The trainees will be introduced to the possibilities of ELISA techniques in theory and practice, and they will develop the competence needed to establish these techniques in the laboratory. The theoretical module covers the possibilities and parameters of different methods while in the practical part, they will use this theoretical background to analyze proteins. In order to conduct the ELISA, the attendees will independently establish an ELISA system and optimize it with little assistance. Therefore, the trainees will have deep knowledge of the current and future aspects of the applications of ELISA.

  10. Interpret the optimization of robustness and stability of the test system
  11. Create strategy from assessment of demand to the final assay
  12. Conclude of capacity verification and validation of an ELISA
  13. Justify trouble-shooting by systematic error analysis
  14. Formulate ELISA standardization
